Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Golconda was established in 1966 by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi, an autonomous body formed by Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

The Vidyalaya is located in Langer House, opposite to Langer House Police Station, just 2 km away from the Historical Golconda Fort and 4km away from Mehdipatnam, a centre connected by APSRTC bus routes to all city centres.

The Vidyalaya which is under Defence sector is thriving and setting standards since its inception with a noble cause of nation building.The Vidyalaya cherishes its glorious moments of remarkable achievements of its alumni who excelled in varied fields.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Jaipur has been actively engaged in the earnest pursuit of educating the children and nurturing them into grown up proud and confident citizens of the country. It is an earnest endeavor of this Vidyalaya to develop the all round personality of the students and to impart in them in them a feeling of responsibility towards their lives. Our aim is to develop those qualities in our students which would make them well behaved, cultured, confident, honest and co-operative children.

Active involvement of parents and guardians is expected for allround development of the students and the Vidyalayas. We strongly believe that staff members of K. V. No. 1, Jaipur and parents can together develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of indianess among the students who are the nation’s builders and pillers.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is a registered society under society registration act 1860 and an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

The KVS administers its various schemes through 18 Regional Offices spread across the country; and 981 Kendriya Vidyalayas including 03 abroad. Each Kendriya Vidyalaya functions in accordance with policies framed by the KVS under the overall supervision of its Vidyalaya Management Committee which is headed by a senior officer from Defence / Civil Services/ sponsoring agency or an educationist. All the Kendriya Vidyalayas are affiliated to with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi.

Policies for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan are framed by its Board of Governors headed by the Hon’ble Minister, Ministry for Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organisation.

KV cuddapah

  Kendriya Vidyalaya was started in the year 2007 in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh with an aim to cater to the educational needs of all the priority categories of employees working in Kadapa.

                It started functioning from April 2007 under the chairmanship of the District Collector, Cuddapah district. The Vidyalaya Management committee has been constituted and approved by K.V.S. The then District  Collector Sri. M.T. Krishna Babu IAS, Cuddapah took keen interest in the starting, functioning and growth of the K.V. To start the Vidyalaya,  a rent free  accommodation has been provided by the district administration with 15 rooms for classes I-VI in the premises of Old Government Hospital Campus Kadapa. The campus is located in the centre of the town (near 7 roads circle) accessible to all prime point.

 Subsequently, under the sponsorship of the State government of A.P. in the year 2010, the construction of its own building was started. M/s HSCL, Kolkata/Gulbarga has been entrusted with the job. It has completed the construction in 2014.  The structure is very spacious and can accommodate 2 sections up to class XII. The school has started functioning from 1.4.2014 in the new campus/ building.

To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.

To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.

To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.

To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.

KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan stands for excellence in school education – enriching the young minds, broadening their horizons, enabling them to discover the hidden talents as also developing the skills.

Since May, 2015, we have been part of the unfolding of ShaalaDarpan – Sangathan’s step towards the dream of digital India, 100% automation of fee collection, preparing new Transfer Guidelines, revision of Education Code etc. Soon, KVS shall have on-line Admission in the KendriyaVidyalayas in Delhi Region. Video conferencing with Deputy Commissioners of all Regional Offices was a good endeavor by the Academic Wing.
